Ramsar Convention
This is a convention agreed upon in 1971 at city Ramsar in Iran in the Name of "Convention on Wetlands of International importance Especially as Waterfowl Habitat".
No. of the participating countries is 153, and the No. of the registered wetlands is 1634 as of 8.Dec.2006.
